The Nordic Impro Meeting (NIM) is a yearly meeting for contact improvisation and dance in Sweden, Norway, Denmark or Finland.
The Nordic Impro Meeting concept is one of open collaboration, i.e. all the participants will generate the program as it proceeds. The organizer will provide a nice frame for that and support the process. In practice this means that volunteers write and post their offering to the time slots provided (non-volunteers can post ideas for others to pick up and facilitate). Each morning we will agree (and vote if necessary) on the day’s program from the offerings, and make it so.
Nordic Impro Meeting organization does not exist as such. Instead, the communities in the nordic countries take their turn to volunteer arranging NIM, without any central guidance. Preventing overlapping events can be done e.g. through this site.
